PM Koirala reached the Soaltee Hotel where the Saarc leaders are staying and started bilateral meetings with them.
Bilateral meetings are in the regular schedule of the Saarc Summit and a matter of attraction as well. Such meetings are expected to renew the bilateral and mutual relations among the member states.
PM Koirala had a meeting with his Pakistan counterpart Nawaz Sharif today. On the occasion, matters relating to bilateral relations and interests and making the Saarc more effective were discussed.
Minister for Foreign Affairs Mahendra Bahadur Pandey, former Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister Sujata Koirala and Acting Secretary Shankar Das Bairagi, among others, were present in the meeting.
Pakistan PM Sharif was accompanied by his national security and foreign affairs advisor Sartaj Aziz and other senior government officers. RSS
